The Willis Ondiek Foundation is governed through a structure that promotes accountability, transparency, responsible stewardship of resources and effective programme delivery.

How the Foundation is governed

Board of Trustees / Governing Board

The Board provides the Foundation’s highest level of governance and oversight. It sets strategic direction, approves policies and budgets, oversees financial and institutional accountability, and safeguards the Foundation’s mission and assets.

Founder & Team Leader

The Founder & Team Leader provides overall strategic and institutional leadership, represents the Foundation in key engagements and guides the implementation of its objectives.

Programs Coordination

The Programs Coordinator leads the planning, implementation, monitoring and documentation of the Foundation’s programmes and community initiatives.

Financial Management

The Treasurer oversees financial administration, budgeting, records and accountability, helping ensure that Foundation resources are managed responsibly and transparently.

Programme & Community Teams

Programme officers, volunteers, community representatives and other personnel support the implementation of approved programmes and initiatives at community level.
